The Art of Digital Embellishment: AGG Print and "Conciergerie Tête d’Or" Craft an Exceptional Project
In digital printing, the difference also comes down to how a document feels in your hands. Relief, contrast, and reflections add an extra dimension to paper and strengthen a brand's identity. Lyon-based printer AGG Print (France) demonstrates this with a project created for Conciergerie Tête d’Or, which won first place in the latest "Let's Shine" competition organized by Konica Minolta France.
The AccurioShine 3600 by MGI at the Heart of the Project
To expand its digital embellishment offerings, AGG Print acquired an AccurioShine 3600 by MGI, provided by Konica Minolta and developed by MGI Digital Technology. This equipment allows for the application of spot UV varnish—either flat or raised—and, with its integrated foiling module, creates metallic effects without the need for dies.
The benefits go beyond mere decoration: digital embellishment helps prioritize information, highlight a pattern, or give a logo a distinctive presence. For AGG Print, it opens up new creative and differentiation opportunities, particularly for high-end marketing collaterals.
A First Prize Combining Creativity and Technical Expertise
The "Let's Shine" competition brought together pairs made up of a designer and a machine operator. Their task was to create a piece showcasing the capabilities of the AccurioShine 3600 by MGI and translate that graphic vision into a finished printed piece.
The AGG Print team won first place with its project for Conciergerie Tête d’Or—an award recognizing both the design of the media and the technical mastery of its production and finishing techniques.

A Folder Designed for "Conciergerie Tête d’Or"
Specializing in high-end property management and rental valuation in Lyon, Conciergerie Tête d’Or wanted a understated, versatile, and instantly recognizable presentation document.
AGG Print designed a tri-fold folder detailing the company's history and its services for both business clients and individuals. The piece holds a business card and a set of cards featuring iconic locations in Lyon, reinforcing the brand's local roots.
The project combines several production and finishing processes: custom die-cutting, contrasts between matte and glossy foiling, subtle spot UV monogramming, and final assembly using a tracing paper band and a sealing sticker. The embellishment effects achieved with the AccurioShine 3600 by MGI strike a fine balance between understatement and sophistication.

Paper as an Extension of the Brand Experience
With this project, AGG Print turned a standard sales presentation folder into an object to be discovered, handled, and kept. Every detail helps convey Conciergerie Tête d’Or's market positioning.
This achievement illustrates the true value of digital embellishment when integrated from the initial design phase: technology serves the graphic concept, turning the document into something far beyond a simple medium for information.
