MGI's technical innovation rewarded by its peers

Based on a historically recognized technological expertise, MGI has received 2 BPI France/OSEO labels Excellence and Innovative Company, as well as some fifty international industrial awards.

MGI Digital Technology's JETvarnish 3D Web 400 digital finishing press has won an EDP Award in the "Best digital finishing solution for packaging" category. The award recognizes the company's technological innovation in the field of digital printing.

The 2020 edition of the Digital Label Awards organized by Etiq & Pack magazine has awarded the Spanish printer Truyol, a digital printer working in both the sheet and adhesive label markets, for its "Sierra De Castril" wine label. The jury selected this label for the high quality of its printing and digital finishing, which was carried out on the MGI Jetvarnish 3D Web press, and which stood out for its sharpness and register.

The 2020 Packaging Oscars rewarded MGI APPROVE, the very first Cloud application of GOOD to SHOOT 4.0, allowing to visualize, manipulate and validate virtual packagings, remotely, by positioning them in their context, thanks to augmented reality.

An Italian printer from Bologna, Rotocel, won the 9th Digital Label Award in the "International" category, an award organized every year by the magazine Etiq & Pack. The Jury of these 9th Trophies rewarded, in mid-March, in Paris, an exceptional wine label, Suadens Rosso, whose digital finishing, realized on MGI JETvarnish 3D Web press, consisted in two hot gildings, of a very great smoothness, and a texture of selective varnish on flat. A label to discover.... at any good wine shop!

The 2019 Digital Label Awards rewarded this year the Israeli printer Peer Print, which presented no less than 3 models of wine labels, printed conventionally or digitally, then coated on MGI JETvarnish 3D Web technology. The Jury wished to reward the finesse and the very high level of quality obtained, as well for the digital hot stamping, as for the digital selective UV varnish.
