
GENDER EQUALITY INDEX: MGI DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY SCORES 85 POINTS OUT OF 100
The gender equality index set up by the Ministry of Labor is one of the various measures provided for in the September 5, 2018 law for the freedom to choose one's professional future.
This index aims to eliminate pay inequalities between men and women in France.
AN INDEX WITH FOUR INDICATORS FOR COMPANIES WITH -250 EMPLOYEES
It is calculated using four indicators determined by law:
▪ Gender pay gap
▪ Gap in the rate of individual increases (excluding promotions) between women and men
▪ Percentage of employees who received a raise in the year following their return from maternity leave.
▪ Number of employees of the under-represented sex among the ten highest-paid employees
Companies must achieve a result of 75/100, failing which they have three years in which to implement corrective actions.
