The event provides a unique forum for discussions around market transformation and the automation of production workflows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Digital embellishment serving Web-to-Print<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">In this context, MGI Digital Technology and Konica Minolta have for several years been supporting leading European Web-to-Print companies in the evolution of their production models and in the creation of high value-added print offerings. The technologies developed by MGI are based on a fully digital process enabling the inkjet application of 2D and 3D selective varnish as well as 2D or 3D hot foil stamping directly onto printed materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This approach eliminates the constraints of traditional embellishment processes, which require screens, plates or specific tooling that are poorly suited to the flexibility requirements of Web-to-Print.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Digital embellishment therefore makes it possible to produce premium applications on short and medium print runs, with or without variable data, opening the door to applications that were previously difficult to produce under economically viable conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Industrial solutions for automated production workflows<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MGI digital presses are designed as true industrial solutions. They are capable of handling large volumes of multiple orders, each one different from the other \u2014 a characteristic of Web-to-Print environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These systems also integrate into the automated production workflows of online printing platforms via MIS systems and workflow solutions, enabling full automation from the online order through to the finished product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Artificial intelligence supporting industrial performance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2016, MGI solutions have also incorporated software and applications driven by artificial intelligence.
